We are a Missionary family currently serving with YWAM, but what do we or will we actually do? Well, thanks for asking, because we would love to tell you!

We are community builders and this flows out in different areas - primarily Pastoral Care, and Discipleship

• ​

  • • Pastoral Care - connecting with current missionary staff and missionary trainees - being a listening ear, giving guidance, debriefing, mediating, helping with conflict resolution

    • Fitness - Mark is a gym coach and offers training to trainees and staff. This helps our staff and trainees train for the physical needs of outreaches and to stay healthy..

    • ​Personnel and Admin - Karle oversees these areas - keeping thing efficient and compliant

    • Hospitality - Mark oversees this important area of making sure our guests to our campus are well taken care of and oversees the janitorial side of the campus.

    • Training -

      • Both Mark and Karle have staffed different schools - Discipleship Training School and Introduction to Christian Formation and Discipleship. These schools help trainees discover their place in fulfilling the Great Commission (Matt 28:16-20) and give space for current missionaries space to continue to grow and learn. 

      • We are both looking to further our Pastoral Care/Member Care training with taking different courses in the next few years.

    • Peyton and Brodie have served as baristas and volunteered in various roles in YWAM Harpenden from 2021-2025. Peyton completed his DTS in September 2024 and Brodie in December 2025. Brodie is a part-time barista looking for more work and praying into attending Bible College in the fall. Peyton is currently looking for work. Both hope shine a light in southern Alberta.​​

    • Emmitt is learning to use graphic design, documentary films, and media. He is hoping to be a help wherever we serve. He loved being a Senior Cabin Leader last summer at Southern Alberta Bible Camp and is hoping to return this summer.

  • Work with and disciple younger team members on the base

• And whatever else God asks us to do...
